Description:
We’re looking for aspiring journalists for Summer and Fall internship
positions. The internship is a 12-week program. Start dates are flexible.
Intern workload includes: article research, fact checking, proofreading, writing
short articles (two or more each month), and updating the websites story database.
Club Relaford is comprised of a very small staff so interns work closely with
staffers, from the assistant editor to the editor in chief. The hours are flexible
Monday through Friday, candidate will be able to work from home or dorm room.
Interns should be dedicated, hard-working, conscientious, creative, and fun-loving,
with a career interest in writing and editing.
Previous journalism experience—either with local publications or your
student newspaper—is required. A passion for politics, popular culture
is preferred but not mandatory.
